Management of CaTECH Systems Ltd. is vitally interested in the health and safety of its Employees in respect of hazards associated with communications installation operations.
Protection of Employees from personal injury or occupational disease is a major continuing objective. In addition, concerns for protection against fire and compliance with the law are also of utmost importance.
CaTECH will make every effort to provide a safe and healthy work environment. Management, as well as all Employees, must be dedicated to the continuing objective of reducing risk of injury.
Our health and safety program constitutes a number of policies and procedures which identify the roles and responsibilities of CaTECH Employees and includes our specific expectations and requirements in respect of occupational health and safety aspects of the work we perform.
Our health and safety program has been established to protect all workers, and to ensure that the Company complies with its statutory obligations and will be subject to review on an on-going basis.
CaTECH as an Employer is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. All levels of Management must make health and safety a priority by taking all reasonable precautions to prevent illness and injury, and will be held accountable for their health and safety responsibilities.
Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers follow established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect their health and safety.
All workers must also protect his or her own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of those around him or her, by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and policies established by the Company. Health and safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Commitment to health and safety must form an integral part of this organization at all levels, whereby Management and workers must work together in order for policy objectives to be implemented effectively. Anything short of full commitment is inconsistent with CaTECH’s culture and objectives.
