Markham Tech of the year 2024: Geoff Chiasson
We are thrilled to announce that Geoff has been awarded the prestigious Techs of the Year award, a testament to his exceptional contributions towards our customers and internal field services team. With a career spanning over two decades, Geoff has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible, transforming solutions on paper into reality and inspiring those around him.
From his early days in 2017 as a passionate member of the field services team to his current role as a Senior foreman , Geoff has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence. His leadership and implementation skills in the MDA campus project has not only altered the way we approach field services but has also set new standards for innovation and efficiency.
Geoff’s leadership style is characterized by collaboration and inclusivity, fostering an environment where creativity thrives. He believes in empowering his team, encouraging them to take risks and explore new horizons.
Beyond his technical expertise, Geoff is a dedicated mentor and advocate for the next generation of tech enthusiasts. He actively participates in initiatives aimed at promoting education, ensuring that young minds are inspired and equipped to tackle the challenges of the future.

Vancouver Tech of the year 2024 : Gordon Foster
2024 has been the year of Gordon Foster, he has been a clutch member of the Vancouver team this past year picking up a ton of off hour requests with a smile on his face and a great attitude. He has really stepped up and out of his shell becoming an adept problem solver, self directing and leading by example. Gordon is a pleasure to work with and is at ease contributing to both CaTECH and our clients successes. Gordon, thank you for your exceptional performance, positive outlook, constructive feedback, and comradery. Calgary’s 2024 Tech of the Year is Karolj Sajti. Karolj always is always the hardest worker on site and always brings his sense of humour to work! No wonder this is his second time winning tech of the year!

CaTECH’s one of the Techs of the year is Jan Laygo. Jan’s positive attitude and versatility means everything to us here. He can work with anyone, on any project, and not get complaints. He continues to want to learn and improve to build on his skill set which is a fantastic attribute for anyone to have. We wouldn’t succeed, and would be much less happy, without Jan here.
