These legends have contributed immensely to our journey, sharing their skills, stories, and dedication. Let’s celebrate their remarkable careers and explore what makes them key pillars of CaTECH’s ongoing success.

CaTECH Employee Spotlight: Steve Richardson

Steve is a Bid Analyst, Estimating Team  and has been working for 26 Years.

With over 26 years at CaTECH, Steve Richardson has seen the company grow and evolve, and he’s been instrumental in many of our successful projects. As a Bid Analyst on the Estimating Team, Steve plays a crucial role in securing new opportunities and driving business growth.

This is what Steve has to say about his CaTECH journey!

My Catech journey started in the summer of 1998. Fresh out of high school at age 17, Scott allowed me to earn some money working in the warehouse for $10/hr. (Not bad considering the minimum wage was $6.85/hr.) I was eventually tasked with some shipping and receiving duties, along with working with two lovely ladies named Angie and Jenny. Together we custom-made every single patch cord required for each project as well as picked and staged materials for the technicians.

One day, my father (Neil Sr.), who was the dispatcher at that time, needed someone to help Bill Mollard pull some cables.
After that, I never went back to the warehouse. I rode shotgun in Bill’s truck for the next few years as his right-hand man learning mostly everything I know today from the field. After working 17 years in the field, Tommy Caputo & Enzo Bordone allowed me to become a PM, where I spent another 7 years learning that side of business.

I recently moved into the estimating department at the start of this year and continue to learn all the aspects of this new position.
I never thought at the age of 17 that I would still be here today at the age of 43 with no end in sight.
I would like to give a special thanks to Bill Mollard, Tommy Caputo, and my father for all the guidance they gave me over the years. I certainly would not be here today without them. Catech has truly been a second family to me, and I’m forever grateful to work for such great owners in Scott and Cathy and all the great people along the way.

CaTECH Employee Spotlight: Linval Lindsay

Linval is working as a Technician for around 26.5 Years

Linval Lindsay, a Technician who has been with CaTECH for 26.5 years, is known for his technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. His passion for innovation and hands-on approach have made him a trusted member of the team.

Linval mentioned some kind words on his journey over the years:

When I first walked through the doors of CaTECH over 25 years ago, I had no idea how much this company would become a part of my life. What began as just a job has grown into something far more meaningful—a journey filled with learning, growth, and lasting friendships.

I still remember my first day like it was yesterday. As I look back on these 25 years, I can honestly say that I’ve grown both personally and professionally. CaTECH has given me opportunities to learn new skills, and be part of projects that I’m truly proud of. But beyond the work, it’s the people—the friends I’ve made and the connections I’ve built—that have made this journey so special. I’m excited to see what the future holds for both me and CaTECH.

CaTECH Employee Spotlight #3: Cedric Davy

Davy works as a Technician and he is with CaTECH for the past 25 Years.

Celebrating 25 years with CaTECH, Cedric Davy is another skilled technician who has consistently gone above and beyond in his role. His dedication and attention to detail have been key in delivering exceptional results to our clients.

When asked about his journey, this is what he has to say:

Monday, July 22, 1999 is a date I’ll never forget—it marks my first day at CaTech. I managed to land the job thanks to a recommendation from my friend and coworker, Linval. Now, 25 years later, I look back with countless fond memories.

I remember the first major project I worked on just a few weeks after joining CaTech: cabling classrooms and offices at Upper Canada College. Working alongside techs like Tony, Bill, Claude, Linval, Angie Louton, and Ian Foster, we truly showed that teamwork makes the dream work.

Over these 25 years, there have been a few glitches and resets along the way, but the positives have far outweighed the negatives. As I look forward to the next phase of my life, CaTech will always be a cherished part of my journey.
