23 Years At CaTECH: Honoring Nick, Enzo, Robert, Tommy & their more than 2 decade journey

At CaTECH Systems, our strength comes from the commitment and expertise of our team. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate four remarkable employees who have each dedicated 23 years at CaTECH: Robert Tavares, Enzo Bordone, Nick Diakopoulos, and Tommy Caputo. Their contributions have not only shaped CaTECH’s success but have also defined our reputation in the industry.

Here’s a look at their 23 Years at CaTECH journey,  in their own words.

Nick Diakopoulos: From Project Manager to Vice President of Operations

“What an incredible journey it has been. I entered the industry in 1997 when structured cabling was starting to evolve and become mainstream. I joined the phenomenal team at CaTECH in 2001 as a project manager. After spending an hour with Mr. Scott Forrestal, President and CEO, it was evident that I wanted to join this great organization. During my 23 years of service at CaTECH Systems, I have worked in various capacities within our operations team, from project manager to manager, director of operations, and since November 2019, vice president of operations. Over the past 23 years, I’ve experienced growth on so many levels—personally, professionally, and as part of CaTECH’s evolution. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of building meaningful connections. CaTECH has never been just a workplace; to many of us, it feels like home. Throughout this journey, we’ve grown as a company, but we’ve also grown as individuals.”

His commitment to excellence and operational efficiency has been instrumental in CaTECH’s evolution. His role in operations has not only elevated CaTECH’s reputation but has also strengthened our client relationships and enhanced our service offerings.

Enzo Bordone: From Electrical Beginnings to Sales Leadership

“It’s incredible to think that more than 22 years have gone by since I first joined CaTECH. This company has become more than just a workplace—it’s family to me. Scott and Cathy have been a constant part of this journey. When I first came onboard, I started in the electrical field and helped launch CaTECH’s electrical division. From there, my journey evolved—I transitioned into operations, took on the role of Director of Operations, and later embraced new challenges in sales. It’s been a privilege to work alongside colleagues who’ve become friends and mentors, sharing the same drive and passion. We’ve faced challenges and celebrated milestones, all while delivering the best for our clients. The camaraderie here is second to none, and I’m grateful for the relationships I’ve built along the way.”

Enzo’s story highlights the career progression possible within CaTECH, where employees are encouraged to explore new avenues and tackle challenges head-on. His journey from the electrical division to sales leadership speaks to his versatile expertise and unwavering commitment to client success.

Though sometimes challenging, the entire journey is a learning experience. The friendships I have made will last a lifetime. I am filled with gratitude to Scott and Cathy for all the support and kindness, especially over the last 2 1/2 years. This would not have been possible without your encouragement and belief in my abilities. Thank you.”
